Flashback: An IT&CMA 2019 Knowledge Session
IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2022 has announced an exciting line-up of conference and seminar sessions for this year’s event. With the focus on emerging stronger in the post-pandemic world, the knowledge sessions are designed to provide tangible learnings and innovative solutions for attendees in a post-pandemic world. Leading industry partners, thought leaders and experts to share their expertise and inspire the industry, helms this year’s topics.

Opening Keynote: Onwards and Upwards

20 September 2022, 1600 to 1700hrs
Kicking off the knowledge session is the Opening Keynote titled “Onwards and Upwards”, presented by Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) with panellists Max Boontawee Jantasuwan, President of SITE Thailand Chapter and Waikin Wong, Regional Director Asia Pacific, ICCA. The talk will be moderated by Karen Yue, Group Editor, TTG Travel Trade Publishing. This session will explore the various changes the business events and travel industry had to face in the past two years of the pandemic, and discuss the strategies moving forward into the future.

IT&CM Asia MICE Knowledge Sessions ​

​What the future holds for conferences, especially in the wake of a global pandemic, is the main topic of the seminar titled “Meetings After COVID – How Conferences Have Changed And What’s InStore For The Future”, hosted by International Association of Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO) and presented by Mathias Posch, President & Chairman, International Conference Services. He will explore the driving forces behind the economic recover of the meetings industry in Asia and COVID’s impact on the meetings of the future.

“Organizational Changes and its Impact on Talent Management” is a session hosted by International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and moderated by Waikin Wong, Regional Director Asia Pacific, ICCA, will explore the need for organization changes during the pandemic and look into the strategies to overcome the huge talent and skill crisis as organizations embark on the road to economic recovery.

CTW Asia-Pacific Conference Sessions

21 and 22 September, 1100-1200hrs [Available on-demand Content till 28 September, 2359hrs (GMT+7)]

CTW Asia-Pacific corporate travel professionals will have their own dedicated conference to facilitate knowledge sharing on corporate travel management trends on “Vision of Value in Business Travel” and best practices on “Walking the Sustainability Talk”.

Attendees will get to hear from panelists Ajaay Kapur, Vice President & Head Procurement, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Akshay Kapoor, Head of Sales, Asia Pacific, CWT and Manish Raj, Vice President – Global Sales & New Initiatives, Moveinsync Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd. discussing on the topic of “Vision of Value in Business Travel”. This segment focuses on “How are companies managing their travel expenses and ensuring strong trip ROI” in a post-lockdown world with an increasing appetite and rising cost of travel.

The theme on Sustainability takes centre-stage at the CTW APAC Conference Sessions in response to increasing conversations within the corporate travel community and beyond to spearhead initiatives towards collective change. “Walking the Sustainability Talk” will be explored with Amarnath Lal Das, Vice President – India Travel, Meeting & Events of Accenture Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India as well as Barbara Ewals, Executive Director for Initiative for Global Resilience and Chooleng Goh, General Manager, The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
