Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau's (TCEB) MICE Winnovation” programme wins UFI Marketing Award 2022 for “Best marketing strategy in a changing exhibition industry”. The award recognises the programme’s timeliness, originality, and impact on the exhibition industry. MICE Winnovation is a collaboration between TCEB and 6 partners: National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), National Innovation Agency (NIA), Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) and Thailand International Events & Festivals Trade Association (TIEFA). Over the past two years, ‘MICE Winnovation’ has proven to be a marketing booster for the industry. Thailand has been winning bids to host major international event in recent months. Most recently, the nutritional supplement company Unicity has selected Thailand as the destination for its 2022 Unicity Global Leadership & Innovation Conference. To be held from 5-7 August, the convention will be attended by more than 10,000 Unicity distributors from over 50 countries. Unicity’s decision to hold the conference in Bangkok with post-event tours to Pattaya and Phuket testifies to Thailand’s readiness for events. Mrs Nichapa Yoswee (right), Senior Vice President, together with the President of the Global Summit of Women, Ms Irene Natividad, the Thailand Host Committee Chair, Ms Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, and Mr Siripakorn Chiosamut, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications and Marketing Director at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). In June this year, Bangkok has welcomed over 1,000 participants from more than 60 countries at the high-profile 2022 Global Summit of Women, The event, held from 23–25 June 2022, was the first large-scale international convention held face-to-face in two years. It spotlighted on Thailand’s MICE industry as the country reopens and prepares for a rapid rebound in international business events.
