Babilo Music Hall is a premium class restaurant in Georgia that has a music hall with full staging effects. Apart from the regular performance schedule, MICE organisers can arrange customised gala performance or ballroom dancing with live-band and singers. The Main Hall has the capacity of 350 guests in banquet-style seating arrangement. It has high ceiling height, crystal chandeliers, grand stage and built-in special lighting effects to suit any theme and mood.
For a more intimate gathering, the English hall can accommodate up to 80 persons. Seating arrangement can be in boardroom or round-table styles. However, there is no performance in this hall. Food quality in the Babilo is good. For this review, the restaurant served a mixed shashlik of chicken, beef and pork. There was well-grilled aroma to it, and there were three types of sauce to go with the shashlik. Vegetables by the side are nicely grilled remains very juicy. Chicken salad with pineapple is a special hot salad dish of this restaurant. Pineapple is not native to this region hence this is probably a modern creation of the chef. The unique seasoning went well with chili pepper, pineapple and a generous serving of diced chicken. Perhaps it would be even better if the proportion of pineapples and chicken was more balanced. Unfortunately, there was no performance on the day of this review due to general maintenance. In fact, the kitchen was specially opened just for MICEreview, hence we appreciates the restaurant management’s effort. Babilo Music Hall is located in Baliashvili Street, but do not be mistaken for another restaurant that bears the same “Babilo” name, which is located further down the same road on the opposite side.
