InterContinental Dubai Festival City has a total of 19 meeting rooms. Its largest ballroom, Al Ras, can accommodate up to 1,300 guests in theatre-style seating. The ceiling height, at a little above five meters, is modestly high. The second largest ballroom can fit up to 1,000 guests in theatre-style seating, but the ceiling height is even lower at 4.3 meters. The meeting rooms are all supported by spacious pre-function areas, suitable for setting up coffee breaks, cocktail reception and even desktop exhibitions. Meeting space at the lower ground level can even make use of outdoor area as coffee breaks and reception. This Outdoor Promenade can host dinner under the stars for up to 770 guests.
The event space is shared between InterContinental and the adjoining Crowne Plaza Hotel. This is an advantage for the venue as participants for the same event may require different categories or different price range of rooms. Although InterContinental Dubai Festival City has been around for about 10 years, it is still a much sought after MICE venue due to its capacity and facilities.
